WHAT CANON CAMERA LENS TO USE FOR FASHION SHOW I am going to shoot with my canon 20d at the London Fashion show. I have only got a focal lens 50mm f1.8. Will I need a long lens such the 70-200mm f2.8 which I have booked at Calumet?

You may need to become a quick change artist, Annalisa, between the zoom and the 50. Which one you use depends entirely on where you're positioned, what your angle of view is, whether you can use a camera support of some kind, and whether the models will be stopping at some point for you to get a good shot of them. It may look easy, but trust me, runway photography, at fashion shows or airports ain't nearly as easy as it looks. ;>) Take it light. Mark

A good lens will surely help you - but unless you know how far away you're going to be seated - it will be hard to know which one you need... Mark is right - it's hard!! I just shot the high school fashion dance show - I was in the 2nd row so my 50 mm was going to be too close - I used my Tamron 28-75...
