Looking for a new F2.8 lens for weddings

Hi, I'm looking to pick up a good lens that is a F2.8 fixed hopefully internal focusing, something that will work with my Fuji finepix S2 Pro... what lens do you suggest that is good but doesn't break the budget as well....any ideas would be great!

  Hi Julie,

Well, I don't know what your budget breaking point is or what zoom range (I'm assuming you're wanting a zoom) you're looking at but, I have 2 F2.8 lenses I can recommend with no hesitation.

First is Nikon's f2.8 28-70mm AF-S ED-IF lens. $1400 or so from various online sellers. It focuses fast, is absolutely silent and image quality is top notch.

A lens I just picked up about a month ago but that I have already used extensively, shooting indoor swim meets is Sigma's 70-200mm f2.8 EX DG APO Macro HSM lens. You can read a review of it here: http://shutterbug.com/equipmentreviews/lenses/1106sigma/

All I can do is echo the reviewer's sentiments. It's perfect for what I've been using it for, fast and very sharp. It sells for about $900 online and so is much less of a budget breaker than the 28-70 Nikkor.
