Putting an image back into the contest

Can you put a image that has a finalist on the image back into the contest if you feel you have worked on the image and made the image better?

I have an image I got a finalist on and was a Kodak PODT about a year ago and I have worked on it and I feel made it alot better. Part of what I have done is crop the image and have sharpened it and taken off a buzz I had on it.

Or do you have to delete the finalist image before you put the new improved image back into the contest?

Thanks for any information you can offer.

Sure you can. I'd reload it from scratch so the finalist tag doesn't go with it and mention that I redid it.

  Thank you Carolyn.

I just was not sure if you had to delete the finalist before you resubmitted the improved image into the contest. I made several changes on the improved one.

I think I try it anyway.

I reworked a lighthouse photo that was a previous finalist and entered it again with a note stating I had altered it. The second one received a finalist as well. Good luck.

  Hi Tamera,

That is good to know that is worked for you.

I put the picture up today on my BP site. It an image of Keshia as goofy.

I also put the image on Keshia's One Model Place profile in the childs category today and it showcased for her.

If you go into my site and click on the image of her smelling the flowers there a direct link to her profile and you can see the image showcased on her omp profile.
