Removing glare in photoshop

I tried to follow the rules and shoot at an angle and for the most part it worked like a charm. Then I looked over my shoulder and there was this big fella just staring at me. So I just started shooting. This shot came out fairly well except for the glare. Does anybody know how I can fix this?

Are we talking about the gorilla with the reflections on his head? Try removing the long vertical line with the scratch remover, and then repair the forehead area by cloning and smudging. A small adjustment to the colour could help, as could holding back the highlights a tad.

Thanks, David! It worked great! I had tried dodge and burn with no luck, but the smudging really made a big difference.
