Linear or Circular filters Hi there Just a small question what is the best filters to use with manual focus lens like canon fd/kiron/vivitar series 1 linear filters or circular filters many thanks for your time steve

Steve, either filter will work with the manual focus lens - the circular type is required in order for the metering and (in some cases) the auto-focus to work with newer camera bodies.

I will just buy the circular one for both the manual and AF lenses.

Yes, Andy (and Steven) - that would be the best thing - since the circular polarizers don't have any downside otherwise...they work on all cameras.
