Black & White I want to take black and whites more than color, and I'm interested in the art of photography. Looking for something in the price range of $90 - $250. What camera should I get?

It sounds like you want to get creative. If that is the case, get a good used manual or auto focus camera such as a Pentax ME-Super, Nikkormat, or Canon Elan 630. You should be able to find these at a used camera dealer. You can take black and whites with any camera, though. If you want a new camera in that price range, I would recommend the Leica Mini Z 2X as a good point and shoot with some creative controls. It may not do everything artistic but it will get you going and remain a trustworthy backup camera when you do upgrade to an SLR.
