copyright symbol

How can I type the copyright symbol using my computer? Or is there a way on Photoshop Elements 4 to make the copyright symbol as text (i.e. on a card etc.)?
Thank you,
Joan

Alan N. Marcus   Hi Joan,

So you want © character?
The following is keyed using the ASCII code 169.
Turn on the number pad by tapping the NUM LOCK key. You know it’s on if you can use the number pad to input numbers.

Depress the “Alt” key and hold it down. Keep holding it down.
Now, using only the keypad keys type 0169. The result will be the symbol ©
This only works using the number pad to input numbers.

Also try:
Depress the “Alt” key hold it down
Depress the “Ctrl” key hold it down
Continue to hold both keys down
Tap the “C” key
The result is this ©

Have a happy holiday,

Bob Fately   Hi, Joan - if you're using a Mac, it's even easier to get the © symbol - just press Option-G (that's the "g" key along with the Option key together.
