Savannah, Georgia Anyone out there from Savannah? I'll be traveling there on business the week before Christmas and was wondering what are the "must sees" in and around Savannah?? Thanks!

Deb, I'm from Augusta, which is about 2.5 hrs from Savannah. Canal Street is a good place to grab something to eat. You can spend some time walking around there too. Several good restaurants are located down there. The architecture is magnificent. Try the following link. http://www.savannah-visit.com/groups_thingstodo.php There are a couple of forts in the area. Several types of tours i.e. ghost tours, museums, etc. Some people believe there are more ghosts in Savannah than there are living people. It really depends on what you like to do. I personnally am into the architecture and forts. Todd

Thanks, Todd. That's exactly what I'm looking for. The architecture and forts would be at the top of my list. I'm guessing the historic district will be dressed up for Christmas too so I'm looking forward to getting some great pics there.
