World Series Photographers

I was just watching the World Series and noticed that a lot of the press photographers are using Pocket Wizards on their hot shoes.
What in the world would they be triggering with these from the Photogs' pit?

David A. Bliss   I know at NHL games some photographers have access to the overhead strobes. If you are ever at an NHL game, you will notice the overhead strobes going off, especially at key moments in the game. I don't know if this is true for other sports or not.

Since I'm in St. Louis, I'll pickup on this one. There are no airships for this series in St. Louis. With limited press passes being handed out, Gregory L is correct that it is for another camera generally located in another pit from where the photographer is sitting. The pits offer different views and depending on the play one pit has a better vantage than another.
