Photography Question

shooting sports indoors


 
 
I am tired of using a flash to get good indoor sports photos. All the red eyes or ghost eyes, it just looks ugly. I have a canon 1ds and what settings and lens would you suggest to use to get great, unblured pictures, without red or ghost eyes.

W. 		  The laws of physics are pretty absolute, Sandra. You need more light. Either more ambient light or more flashlight. Best is both, of course.
