Photography Question

has this ever been done before


 
 
This is a new technique I first tried with this photo. I have not read or heard of anyone doing this before and would like to know what you think. I call it a double pan. While practicing panning a motorcycle rider, I decided to double pan it. Just as I pressed the shutter, I reversed my movement from right to left. It created a very unusual effect and I plan to expand on the idea and see what happens. Any one know if this has been done before? Dale

Jagadeesh Andrew Owens 		  I'm 99% sure that it's been done before, and just labeled as a mishap or mistake, though your photo isn't. I like it and look forward the technique's evolution. That's the challenge for me in photography, is to constantly find new ways of presenting something.

As you can see from my gallery, I am a beginner and fairly traditional but am always looking to learn more.
