Are you using a new wide-angle lens? Are you using the on-camera pop-up flash? If I have my 24-70mm f/2.8 lens set to wide and use the on-cmaera flash, it will make a semi-circle shadow at the bottom of the picture. This is the shadow of the lens blocking the flash. By the way, I almost NEVER use the on-camera flash, but I had read that this could happen, so I tried it out when I got the new lens. Chris A. Vedros

I have a 28-300 lens that I've used as long as I've had the camera. The reason I think something is going wrong is because it never happened before to my photos.

Can you post a picture so we can look at it. I would have to agree with Chris on this one. I ran into that problem several months back with the pop-up flash. Took me about 2 days to figure out what was going on.
