It's my First Anniversary here at BetterPhoto! Well, in a few hours it will be one year since I signed up with BetterPhoto.com! I want to thank BetterPhoto.com, the staff, and all the wonderful BP members who helped me during this last year to change from a striving beginner to a serious hobbyist and still growing. I found this site when looking for a contest to enter my Leaf bug on a Tree Hike picture which I thought then was pretty professional. Unfortunately, I also entered it into the Circle of Photographers. Fortunately, this site helped me realize before it was really to late that they are a scam. Since that day, in very large amount to all the great and helpful people on this site, I've learned a great deal about photography and composition (but the more you know, the more you know you don't know), even to the point where I'm now selling my photos online and one of my pictures became a BP finalist. In the last year, I've taken about 10,000 pictures, initiated 191 photo discussions, commented in 485 photo discussions, asked 11 questioned, and gave answers to 161 questions. Once again, thank you to BetterPhoto and all you great and helpful members! I hope I've given to you guys at least as much as you've given me.
