If anyone is interested
My great-grand father worked for a newspaper in New York City and went to on a ship to Greenland to pick up Admiral Robert Perry while on one of his trips looking for a route to the north pool. My great-grandfather, we belive took these shots and others on the trip. They are on glass slides approximatly 3x5 inches. My cousin has them but scanned them to a disc and I did what I could to lighten and clean up any mars. I think they are pretty cool. There's a total of about thirty. Hope I get them to upload.
