Story time with Uncle Sipho, Part Deux Well, those of you keeping track, I presented my portfolio yesterday, and it was a hit!!! They immediately wanted to publish one (the one I placed as the last photo to leave them with some "wow"), gave me free advertising space, and want me to do work for them on assignment!!! Yay! I'm now going to be published! Oh, and the BEST part is that they're working out a show at TWO premiere Birmingham galleries (where they are going to display the best of the best that have been published in the paper) and I will be in it!!! Thanks for all your support and help guys, it really paid off... I'm on my way!!!

The paper came out Thursday! It looks great, especially since they printed it on bright white (high white?) paper instead of regular newsprint.

Dismissing outright, the perpetual sour-grapes tone that Don and all his/her aliases exhibit as the tedious & juvenile soundtrack to his "contributions" on BP, let me join in offering Congratulations, Sipho, on your inclusion in the paper! I liked the version you uploaded to your gallery, particularly for the wide-intersection point of view. I'm also especially glad to see restoration work taking place on such an terrific structure. Be sure to share a photo with us, once the exterior repairs are completed there.
