Panoramic sizing I've been playing around with the panoramic feature on my cannon camera lately and have been using the photo-stitch software that came with it to stitch the pics together. They look pretty good afterward, but when I try to upload to the website or view them through a different program, the image appears very small and narrow instead of being of normal size and scrolling side to side like many of the other images on the website. I was just wondering how to make it appear as the normal height, but with the longer panoramic width

I found a similar problem using a couple of programs that included a panorama option...when I checked, I found that the image size after merging the images was about 500 pixels on the long side and the images were useless for anything but emailing. Doing it manually with full size images produces huge files, but the results are excellent... and you can work with files re-sized to about 1/3 as a compromise. I have a few in my gallery if you are interested.

Doing it manually is the only way to get great results. When you mentioned working with the images at 1/3, you still meant working manually and not using the supplied stitch software right? I was hoping that it would be a little easier, but I’ll have to give that try and see how it turns out. Thanks for the advice.

Yes. Matt: I usually work in PaintShopPro. I find it does this kind or work very quickly and easily compared with PS.
