Why is Elements 4.0 giving me print problems? Greetings! I use Elements 4.0 to tweak my images, but have not printed from that program until today. (I've been using Kodak Adobe, or Photoworks online ordering system). When I do print at home, I use Microsofts Picture It 7.0. None of the above sources have given me resolution/quality problems. However, Elements provides me with the option to customize my print size, which turns out exactly how I want. The problem is the quality of the finished image. Using a photo of the Chicago skyline as an example: some of the buildings have dark outlines on them. Some of the trees in the foreground look outlined, too. It looks like a fake/altered picture. The colors are more rich on the subjects that are outlined, whereas everything else is lighter than should be. It's like an over & underexposed image in the same shot. Using this exact same image file, none of the other printing sources result in this type of inaccurate print. What am I doing wrong and what adjustment do I need to make in Elements? Thanks :)
