Photography Question

Anita Bower

What do you do with your photos?

I am curious to know what people do with their photos, with the "keepers."

Do you share them with others? If so, how? Via email, a website, prints?

I have some photos I like and am wondering what to do with them. The family ones, I will print and put into an album. But, what about the others?

Many thanks,
Anita

Most of my keepers are in my gallery.
I email out lots. I just put the rest in a box (don't ask how many boxes I have).

I put them in scrapbooks, albums, give them to friends and family; stuff like that. I've also framed a few. Mind you I am not talking of the ones in my gallery, they are just my learning curve :)

I enter a few of my keepers here at BP. The rest I put on CDs and store for my own future enjoyment. No one, family or friends, gives a hoot about photography.

I have all my keepers printed at my professional lab, who also mattes and frames them! I then proudly display them in my home.

"No one, family or friends, gives a hoot about photography" ... except for my mom and grandma. But they are the ONLY ones. So I burn my family pics onto cds and give them copies so they can view them as a slide show and then print the ones they want for their own albums. It saves me a bundle!

And I've printed a few of mine to hang on my walls. When I have time to really take some pictures I plan to do more to put up in my home ... when I have time.

some people don't give a hoot, but everyone appreticaites a beautiful picture. You should here people when they go into Art/PhotoArt galleries. Some of the older people expect only paintings, but when they see the unbelievable photos the ooohs and ahhhs come rolling out. When they are older, someone has passed away or they don't see someone for a while they will be happy they've got photos.
