Sounds to me like someone trying to right-click and save your photos to their own PC (which BP blocks.) Dunno about guessing their deeper motives. Still, you can always delete it, and just not reply...

Okay, Natalie, I am with you.
Sounds pretty weird...can't image some perv. wanting to download your baby pictures for ped. reasons....so awful.
What bothers me is that although we can't right click on our images, we can do a 'save as' and print them out. Same thing, right? So ANYONE has access to our photographs on BP....someone correct me if I am wrong.

No we can't right click them, only if they are thumb nails. but all they have to do is a printscreen.....

I hate that I got this message, I want to blast them with the full forces of the Copyright Act, but don't want them to have my email address.

Natalie, I am not sure what a printscreen is, but I your message about the ped. bothered me so much that I pulled up one of your images and did a 'save as' and it saved to 'my pictures' which I could print out in a good quality if I wanted. Of course I don't want to print it out (forgive me for the test), but I am sure that are a lot of sickies and people who want to steal images who do print them out. TO BETTER PHOTO: Is there anything you can do so that people can not do a 'save as' on our images??????

EWwwww Oh I feel sick thinking of it. These are my clients children, they trust me to have them on the web. Hopefully this is just some lady who desperately wants a baby and loves looking at baby photos etc. But the email was wierd. I want to take the pics down, but this is how my clients see my examples. I suppose if I take them down, then they will just look at other sites.

Wow, when I right click, I get the "copyright warning" and I can't do it. But I can right click and save as when I am on a thumb nail only, but it isn't very good quality when it is enlarged.

ps, your forgiven! : )

Print Screen is when you hit the "Print Scrn" button (next to your F12 key) then paste it into word or anything else, it is an exact replica of what was on your screen.

The whole Printcreen thing is something I'd like to keep a secret as much as possible. My husband's aunt was frustrated because she couldn't save my pictures from this site so I told her I'd email 'em to her.

What?!? She hasn't received the email Yet?!? (I'm glad she doesn't know about the whole printscreen thing)

  Natalie,
Don't worry yourself sick about this. Pedophiles would never waste time with your cute babies when there is so much actual filth available on the internet for them.

This person might not have the worst of intentions. They still don't have the right to download your pictures, of course. And I agree, the best thing to do is just ignore it.

Besides, I have a policy against communicating with people who use that internet shorthand crap. It's one thing to throw in an occasional LOL or FYI. I've even been known to include a ;-) here and there. But if every other word has to have letters left out so they can type more quickly, then it just looks like they don't really have the time to communicate with me. So I won't waste their time by making them read my complete sentences full of actual words.

Call me a grumpy old man if you like, just please take the time to actually type the words with all their letters.

TTFN ;-)

I would sometimes post routine shots of my granddaughter, age 8. No matter what site I used, if it had a hit counter her pix always got as much as 5-10x anything else.
I just stopped posting my g'kids at all. I just don't like it.

I agree with Chris. Without even having seen your gallery, there have got to be people out there who love looking at baby shots, or there would be no Anne Geddes, (personally, she makes me want to vomit, lol), and you wouldn't have your clients. Don't get me wrong, I believe there's a special hell for pedophiles and they're out there in force, I just choose to believe that they don't frequent our site. Don't let a few sick, sick people that may be out there keep you from posting photographs of subjects you love and want to share with others on what I perceive to be a great, family friendly site. Best wishes.

even though you are at 72 dpi it doesn't matter, they can still get the picture. Just for a test I right clicked a baby shot (thumbnail) and I used PS fix-ups (for really old faded pictures) a multi vitamin action and I could get a clean 5x7 out of my printer. I could probably go bigger, but I didn't want to waste paper. I have pictures of kids for their parents and I wouldn't risk it on the internet. Too many SP's out their.
