Black Photos in PSE 4 using Versions Sets

I have Photoshop Elements 4. I often edit photos and save them in Version Sets. It works fine.

Yesterday, I installed and calibrated my monitor with Huey. It worked fine.

Then, I went into PSE4 and noticed that some of my photos were turning BLACK. Some Version sets are okay, but most are not. The picture shows up for a brief second and then goes black. If I right-click on it and send it to the Editor, it will come up. But it will NOT show up properly in its Version Set. Some pictures won't show up even in the Organizer, but it is mostly a problem with Version sets.

Has anyone had this problem with PSE4 and Huey?

I just did a RESTORE, which went back to pre-Huey. I just looked at some Version sets that had problems and they are okay now.

But I have lost my monitor calibration.

Is there any fix for this? I can go and ask Adobe and Panotone, but it is so hard to get good customer service these days. I really need a working PSE4 *and* to use Huey to calibrate my monitor.

Thanks in advance for any help.
