Image Uploads When I upload an image to BetterPhoto the image is lighter in appearance than it is from the programs on my PC - the colors seem to be adjusted and are not as rich once uploaded. I am viewing this from the same PC that I am uploading from. Does anyone know why this happens?

I had similar issues initially---but generally, the image went darker... basically, each program used to view an image can take a different 'interpretation' of your file. I'd edit an image in Photoshop Elements, get it to where I liked it, then (forgetting BP for the moment) go view that same edited file in Windows Picture/Fax Viewer---and get a nociteably diffferent display---one that ended up being closer to BP, in fact---ie, an image ultimately viewed through (in my case) Internet Explorer. Long story short, I try and compensate now, and in PSE while editing, think about what I'll see in Internet Explorer. I also switch to a CRT monitor (instead of laptop) for all my editing.

Thanks for responding Christopher! I guess I should have given a little more detail about what I use. I use Photoshop Elements to edit. I view the photo in Windows Picture/Fax Viewer (usually before I'm uploading it) just for another view or if I want to view images quickly - the image looks the same in both Elements and Picture/Fax Viewer on my PC. I use Internet Explorer to upload and view the BetterPhoto web site. I use a CRT and/or LCD flat panel monitor for editing, but when I am making the comparisons I am referring to it is from the same monitor - I'm not switching between monitors to make the comparison. The difference is between Internet Explorer and my editing/viewing programs.
