need help from photographers I need to interview a photographer for my current course assignment, and submit an essay for the interview. I hope I can get helps from BP photographers. KT, I have a degree in Interior Design. I used to work in radio but had always wanted to be in the arts even though I can't draw worth doodles. So basically, I stalked a Photo Manager and begged for a job just to learn how to do it. I had and still have a passion for the photography and work as a portrait photographer and am in the position of Senior Portrait Manager. I have been the company for 4 yrs in June and have risen quite fast because I have an obsession to learn everything I can from anyone. The advantages of my job include doing something I love and getting paid for it. It gives me an outlet for creativity that I hadn't had before. There are so many advantages. Disadvantage: not being home much, obsessed with technology and wanting every new toy I see. The worst difficulty I have had is when the people who are there to have portraits done, really don't want to be there, so I just tell them I understand but if they will give me a chance, I will give them a work of art. I also train my new photographers and am the Director of Photography for the Tennessee Valley Fair. The rewards are incredible for those who are willing to work hard. I couldn't imagine doing anything else!!!
