No. Most deals that look too good to be true are not true. This is one of them.

Read some of their reviews at www.resellerratings.com to see what some of their customers think.

I suggest that we all get online and fill all the order forms we can access with the words SCAM, RIPOFF OR CROOK. If they can't access their orders, maybe they will get the message.

Hey Tim: One place we frequently recommend around here as a highly reputable merchant is B&H Photo at http://www.bhphotovideo.com. While you may find it cheaper elsewhere, it may not include the same features, same accessories, a USA warranty, ad infinitim.

Another place you can find anecdotes about dealers, good and bad, is at Phil Greenspun's site: photo.net
The section you want over there is "neighbor to neighbor". If you don't find comments about a particular dealer, chances are they're either too new or no one has used them yet.

As you probably know (based on your question) there are loads of unscrupulous dealers out there. As our buddy Gregory would say: "Cabinet Emptier" (Latin for Caveat Emptor or buyer beware). Afterall, it's a jungle out there.

Take it light.
Mark

Another good site is www.porters.com. This link is to Porter's camera Store in Cedar Falls, Iowa. They have a good stock of photography equipment and a knowlegeable staff if you need help. Also, They will mail you a free catalog if you request one. I've dealt with them since 1992, and never had a problem.

Have fun and keep shooting,
Mark H.
