Using Acrylic Riser In Lite Cube 4 Special Effect? I'm new here & starting an Auction Vintage Biz soon- HELP!lol. I bought a Light Cube/Tent,all my light fixtures/bulbs ready to go (30w Photo Trumpet Top Bulbs). I'd very much like to create the effects I've seen accomplished w/both clear & black acrylic risers - doing so would give my photo's a leading edge & selling online auctions is highly competitive. I've located both colors of this acrylic mentioned above, however, what i've found in my price range are thick acrylic platforms (with no riser to them, simply lie flat). Will I obtain the same dramatic effects whether the medium used lies flat or has 2-3" of a lift to it? Also, i'd like to use something called "Prop Wax", giving the ability to temporarily keep Jewelery pieces in misc. positions while the shot's are being taken,(with very small amt. being used & it's reusable from what i've read). Anyone familiar w this & if so, where can I find a small container of it? Some Vendors have tried selling me Museum Wax or Gel & that's not what I need. Sorry for the long post, but i'm so burnt out searching for the exact products mentioned in the article I read. Thanks for listening & all help is sooooo appreciated. Btw, tried my best 2 show pix to describe these acrylic risers effects. Brightest Wishes~
