BP hosted website issues?


Hi. is anybody having problems with the deluxe pro website select & catagorize updater?
Mine is not responding. Been unable to host changes to my site for 2 days.Currently my site looks awful due to this problem.I have deleted half the images from my site now in the hopes of getting it working but nothing is helping.
Not getting any response or back up from BP at the
moment.
Anyone else having problems or is it just me?

  I don't have the Pro, but my Deluxe is working pretty well now, after a few glitches at the onset of the change. Put your new category in then go to the bottom of the page of 50 and click submit. Mine goes black and sometimes never comes up again at this point, but the image shows up in the gallery where I put it. Go to Jay Wadley (jay at betterphoto.com)and he'll help you out.

  I have been having trouble with mine too. I'm also getting an error page when I try and change a description.

  Hi thanks for responding.

Jay did e-mail me late last night and said that a change had been made which should help me.

That about sums up the extent of the help.

I have no idea if it would have helped as by that time I had deleted all my images (all 600)and was tring to directly upload to each catogory through the batch loader from BP and my selector was clearly not responding.

My issue became one of frustration at the response time to the problem. I use it as a business web site but the help is clearly not in line with busines operations. The fact that no apology was made also causes me to consider if I will renewing the site in July when my subscription expires.

Right now I am looking for alternatives. Shame as I have found the site to be versatile and easy to change up until now.

Sorry to sound bitter BP but customer service is really important!!!

  Try to be a little patient. I'm sure they are working on it. I've had quite a bit of improvement on mine since I e-mailed them. I suppose if they stop to answer every e-mail they get on the subject, nothing gets done while they are answering all our questions. I've found them, especially Jay, to be extremely helpful, even if it takes a little time.
