Photography Question

3d letters

Hi!
I need help!
So I have this great idea! I want to take multipel pictures of my cousin KERRY in the letters of her name... you know like leaning on the k, and hanging from the e, poking her head through the R.... etc.... BUT I want to be able to do it for any kid, and I dont want to have to buy 26 letters. And I dont know where I would get three - four foot tall letters anyway.... does anyone know how to create realistic looking huge white letters in photoshop?
Thanks!
Jen

It can be done. You'll need to use the letter tool. Blow up the letters and use a clone tool to insert the subject into the picture. Although, it would take a very skilled photoshop'er to pull something like that off neatly. Your best bet would be just to find the letter for real.

  Yea it does.

You can make the letters using PSP and add an effect called "chisel" or "inner/outter bevel" to then to acheive a 3D look.

As far as the real things, I have no idea where you would get them. maybe try a photography shop, or if all else fails the wonderful Ebay. :P

You could try some of the backdrop/prop companies, like Denny Mfg. I know they sell giant 3-D "years" (for HS senior pics) but I'm not sure about letters.

I just found a company online that will make 6 inch tall letters of any font. I ordered some and im thinking that I will take them in the same lighting as the shots of the kid then ps them together..... we will see
