art exposition
The school of my child has asked me to do all the photowork concerning all upcoming events. I do not have a lot of experience with this. Friday there will be an art exposition. Is there anybody who can give me a tip to get great pictures?

Hi Karen; I know what they say about never shooting animals or children, but I have a ball shooting at my daughter's school. Just make sure to focus on all the children, relax, and have fun. You'll do great.

Yeah, like Mark says. Unless of course, you have some particular concerns or issues that you want us to address. Otherwise, have fun. Take it light. Mark (the other Mark ;>)

Yes, actually I have some particular concerns. I did christmas, birthdays of the teacher, Easter and more but an art exposition? I find that difficult. I need some tips on how to take the pictures. I think it is very boring when I only take the standard shots of the artworks. I feel like I have to do something special?

Try to get photographs with the children and their work. There is no greater expression than that of a child. Try to get the children with their friends, teachers and families. Don't concentrate on just the art. The school will not just be looking for the art. If you look carefully, you will see hundreds of shots appear that you would never thought of even taking. Once you shoot a few school events, you will find it easier and easier. Like I said, I have a ball shooting school events. Have fun and keep shooting, Mark
