scrim material i need to know what the material is that is used on the scrim jims (westcott) I dropped a light stand on 2 of them and they ripped. the replacement from westcott is insanely high priced,as were the scrims when I bought them. Thanx-Al

Could be silk or nylon.

These used to be made of sail cloth, and still may be. Nonetheless, your replacement doesn't HAVE to be the exact material. I've built many shoot-thru's in the past from white shower curtains. Michael H. Cothran
