looking for a basic graduated ND filter Hello folks, i am looking for a basic graduated ND filter for my maxxum 650si. I think I would like to start off with a 2 stop soft edge filter..apart from singh-ray, does anyone have experience with slightly inexpensive filters?

Cokin, but they're made from plastic.

EBAY. As for Cokin, I've found them to be easily scratched. Inexpensive glass and plastic filters can have imperfections that can cause distortions in your photographs. Ebay usually has a good selection of used filters, such as Tiffen, at affordable prices. Have fun and keep shooting,
