Anonymous ppl on this site, Dr.Evil for example

I just want to know one thing about the people that come on BP and post anonymous threads to annoy others. Why? It's bothersome to the people on this site who are actually on here for useful information, it is often degrading to the other individuals as well. No one takes you any of them completely seriously, and why should they? Bragging about some 40,000 dollar camera that only they have and only they know how to use, getting absolutely amazing results. Supposedly don't want to post any of these results however, as a security risk to their work. Gah!
I'm 16 and have been published twice. I'm using a 3.1 megapixel S3000 Fuji, and getting amazing results out of it. If any of you Mr. Mysterios want any kind of respect at all, any kind of support from anyone on BP, give it up! I can only assume it is a large number of people, possibly doing this for the fun of it, or quite possibly some kids having a bit of "fun". But, this is a serious site as well, and helps teach amateurs as well as professionals more about their trade. We don't need these ridiculous posts and out-of-nowhere remarks in amongst the good. I know the good comes with the bad, but there has to be something to do to get rid of these jokers.

Aloha,
~Dave

David, about Dr. Evil, I think that he admitted a while back that he was only about 16 himself. So I'm assuming that he is just doing it for kicks with complete disregard for everyone else.

  Dave,
I'm glad some of our younger members, like you, Brendan, and a few others are mature enough to make a positive contribution to the site.

You guys give us some fresh perspectives and remind us old guys that we don't always know everything. (SSHHH - don't tell my kids I said that - they still think I do!)

The nonsense posts and made-up characters are the work of one individual, who is looking for attention. We still manage to get quite a lot accomplished around, in spite of his interruptions.

Glad you're here,
Chris

  Thanks Chris,

I won't tell your kids, lol, don't worry as kids we need to know/think our parents are always right :P
As for the Mr. evil dude, I guess every class has it's clown, including the BP class! Talk to you later,

Aloha,
~Dave

I hear ya David, I can't keep up with all of "Dr.Evil's" new names, but I rely on Chris, Sam, Kerry & those guys to keep me up to speed :)

That's why I commented in another thread this week (started by dr.evil) that I don't give any credit to posts from people without galleries. I'm sure most are legit, but without a gallery I'm always suspicious b/c those of us here to learn & share, show our work!

On a side note- I think it's so awesome that you guys know in your teens that this is a passion you have. I always had a camera in my hands, but had NO idea I might be able to make a career out of it until recently. Ok, I'm only 28 so there's still lots of time, and my office job pays the bills in the meantime, but I feel like I missed out on lots of good learning years. So anyways, great to have you guys along!
