shooting historical buildings I am entering a competition here in my small home town in Australia. The theme is "Built Heritage". There are 2 sections B&W & Colour. I got a Nikkon D70s for Xmas. Any tips please?

Shoot in raw mode, convert to B&W in your post processing. Get a good tripod and head, and always use them. Think about getting Photoshop CS2, if you don't already have it. Somewhat costly, but perspective corrections are easy to do in PS.
