buyiing digital cameras I am currently using a Minolta Maxxum 7000 with several lenses. I am wanting to purchase a Minolta Maxxum 7D. I know the lenses will interchange. My question is should I buy the kit or just the 7D body. My 7000 lenses are like new and I have all but a wide angle lens.

I don't know which lens is included in the kit, but generally the lenses included in kits are the low-end lenses and often not that useful. Your current lenses will work with the 7D. If the kit includes a wide angle (which will be unusual) you might consider that kit. Otherwise, you probably will be better off with just the body.

keep in mind minolta went out of business.parts and service may be a problem. sam
