so this has happened to me as well, and I was siked because of the connections I might make more than getting an award. But, what do they do, they are taking people's money right? so do they still run the convention and hardly anyone goes, to what advantage would that be for them? i'm confused but I agree that 600 bucks sounds like way too much, I thought it would be cheap! and it's a bummer that people have 3 year old photographs that are being judged. lets keep eachother posted

Brendan Knell 		  It's more than 600$ Brooklyn, because you have to pay for your flight down and back, your hotel, your food, ect.
