I realize that learning photoshop takes practice to consistently and correctly optimize your images in photoshop. Any suggestions for workflow?? Lets take this picture for example. What would you do first.

Daniel, I use Elements 3 and generally follow the following:
--convert large/fine JPEG to TIFF.
--run "levels" to get the lighting right.
--adjust saturation to a level I like.
--adjust sharpening using "unsharp mask."
--run "Noise Ninja" to remove any noise.

That's my workflow. I hope others answer your question--I might learn something too.

John

Nice concept but, next time, don't zoom in quite so much. You've cut off the baby's elbow and Dad has no neck.
