animal red eye I know what causes red eye when shooting people. I also know that light is reflected differently in animals, usually green or yellow but caused be the ssame thing. Is there a some way to remove "animal red eye"? Most editing programs do well on people but nothing to animals.

Well most of my pictures of my animals have red eye, so the red eye remover works just fine for me. But if it doesn't work for them, try using the clone tool.

I don't know what you camera is but if you have possibility to use an external flash..use it ...no more red eyes and big beautiful black animal eyes. Paint shop Pro 9 also has a removal tool for animal red-eyes .

Thank you for your prompt response. I will have to try some things out then. I have a number of programs but I can't see myself springing for Photoshop yet. It is a bit pricy.

Sylvia, 100$ for Paint Shop Pro, or Photoshop? I think PSE 4.0 is only about 50USD.

100$ for PAINT SHOP PRO 9 ! (from Jasc or Corel) PSE4 (from Adobe)costs lesser but has lesser fonctions too. You're lucky only have to pay 50$ we pay the double over here. PHOTOSHOP CS 2(from Adobe) costs more than 1000$ in the shops of my country. Paint Shop Pro is an alternative between Photoshop Elements and Photoshop CS2. Hope this helps :O)
