Photography Question

negatives

How do you handle 35mm negatives ? I purchased a negative scanner, but I can not get the negatives out and out put them in with having my finger prints all over them. What do I need to buy and where ?
Thanks again for all of your help.
Jake

Jake, you might find it worthwhile to use cotton gloves (they're usually available at photo stores) made fo this purpose. Once you're used to handling them, though, you should find it easy to just hold the negative strip by the edges (that is, place your fingers to the sides of the strip and apply a little pressure on the film so it "bows" a bit - your fingers are thus only touching the very edge of the film strip).

I hope that made sense...
