Hi Breanna, I use the levels to adjust the skin tones. It adjust the color saturations your camera may throw out. Mine throws out a yellow cast at times. As far as clear, when I am doing someones face, I soften the skin with the soft tool to smooth out uneven texture and sometimes tone and then clone out any blemishes. Layers also help. It will be a good investment to buy a book on the uses of Photoshop. Best of all, a great exposure will save you alot of time with PS fixes. Have a happy holidays and looking forward to seening some of your images!

If you are using PS Elements, you can use the "reduce noise" tool under "filter" then "Noise". You can also make a copy of your photo, place a slight gaussion blur (about 4-6.5) on the copy then lower the opacity of that copy. Then, take the eraser tool to remove the blur from the eyes and other detailed areas (hair, lines, mouth, nose, ears, etc.). Cyndee ><<>

also, if you could shoot in RAW mode, it makes a big difference in adjusting your photos. You have a whole lot more controll over the finished picture. Craig-

Craig suggestion to shoot in RAW is a good one. I started shooting raw a few months ago and as a result I spend much less time adjusting in photoshop. Gary
