Linking to Sites I set up my Deluxe Website recently and got an email from a woman who runs an on-line photo school called "Stare Photography School." She offered to exchange links (presumably, she sent a similar email to everyone at BetterPhoto with a Deluxe site). I went to her site and the course seems useful (at least to a newcomer such as myself) and the price is right and I might even take the course ... but what are the ethics of linking to another site: By linking am I implicitly endorsing her site? Some thoughts from the mavens at this site would be appreciated.

Harold, There is a Google Ad link right above your question for another company that sets up photo-websites, so I guess it's OK ethically to link to whomever you chose. As long as the site you link reciprocates,...what goes around, comes around.

At BetterPhoto, we have a very nice collection of online courses - ones that actually operate like a "real" class ... more than just sending out a lesson (which, of course, we do), but with discussions, interaction with the instructor/professional photographer, etc. Most importantly, there are weekly assignments, which not only get you out shooting, but include feedback from your instructor in the form of helpful critiques.
