beginner digital cameras
Im just getting to a poing where im taking photography more serious and I have an Olympus C-740 now I bought it a few years ago. Id like to be able to shoot panoramic views. I really enjoy Digital cameras for the fact that you can view the picture right away. So why would you reccomend for a camera that wont break the bank. Thank You so much... Andy Harmon

First, how much are you willing to pay? Do you want another P&S or a DSLR? How big are you going to be printing? Are there any special features that you want?

To do panoramics does not necessarily require a different camera with a wider-angle lens. You can use the camera you have and with capable editing software on your computer simply "stitch" a series of images together into a panoramic photo. This method has the advantage of giving greater resolution and larger printing sizes.
