Scanning Negatives I am looking to purchase a scanner to scan my negatives and am a little confused by something. Once I am done taking the pictures on the roll of film, do I take it to the store to get developed and then scan it? Any help would be appricated, as you can tell by the question I am a novice.

yes ma'am you would take it to your photo lab and tell them "develop only, cut normal" and they will give you a package with just your negatives, no prints and you take these home and scan the negs. scanning negs is time consuming I must warn you.

Thanks so much for the response :) I just wasn't sure how to go about getting the film developed without the uneeded prints.
