how to edit photos shot with Hoya RM72 Infrared fi

I just got a Hoya RM72 Infrared filter for my Minolta A1 digital camera. It is a point and shoot basically. I went out and shot a bunch of photos in the desert to try it out. I found it does not work with my manual settings and only with the camera set to auto. When I downloaded my photos and went to open them in PS CS they are red...how do I go about converting them to look B/W? I am not sure since there are no instructions with the camera as KM does not sell IR filters. Also right in the middle of each photo there is a much lighter circle? If anyone has a clue what to do about any of these question, I would really appreciate help! I love the IR look and am hoping to be able to start creating some right from my camera and not from PS CS
Thanks, Jill

You need to talk to the MAN! Go find Bill (William) Raco's Deluxe site and e-mail him about it. He's the expert and will be glad to help out. I also just got one and he's been super helpful.
