eye glass glare


HOw do I get the glare off of glasses in photoshop elements 3.0... thanks Rita Snow

I don't know about Elements, but in other programs, I use the lassoo tool to select the lenses, then lower the saturation. In some cases you may have to clone the reflection out from another photo!

  OOPS! I said reduce saturation; mistake! What I did in the example was to adjust contrast and lightness until I got the reflections under control. Then INCREASE the saturation of the pupil colour. Sorry...

  I had this problem recently, and I cloned it out fairly easily. On mine it was not a total glare, just spots, I zoomed in really large where you can see pixels, and cloned out from the area just around the glare and worked my way into the circle of the glare. There may be a better way to do this, and David's sounds like one I will try as well.
