Business cards Can anyone tell me where a good place online is to get business cards made? I would like to have a picture on the card also.

Vistaprint.com has been pretty good. They're about $30 for 250 on glossy card stock, and you can design the whole thing or add your photo to one of their templates. Mike, I make my on from a program (proventure about $10) and I use AVERY business cards (200 about $20) with my own pictures. The best part about that is you can make as many cards you want with one type of picture or change the picture to fit the client you are going after. This way you don"t have 250 cards all the same unless thats what you like. Good luck.

iprint.com is pretty good too. It take a little bit to get your pics to upload but there site is pretty easy to use, there prices are very reasonable, and they ship fast. Hope this helps.

I do a lot of graphic design work, and one thing if you're doing your own business cards - please do not use the perforated business card papers! They look very cheap and unprofessional. If you want to do a high quality business card at home, keep it simple,and use good paper. You can use a high end card stock, but if you're using photos, don't use one with texture. I've even printed mine straight onto glossy photo paper. You can lay it out with a template, or do it yourself in photoshop, then cut it at Kinko's or with your own cutter. I've done this, and no one knows I've printed them myself. I've done some layout work for different companies, so if you need some help with your design, let me know. Good luck!

Mike, I got the program at Office Max with the AVERY Business Cards (glossy clean edge #8879) . I use the these cards and they do look professional, many people ask me which print shop did my cards.

I agree with Michelle. I buy all my business cards from www.overnightprints.com. they give you 1000 color cards for about $50 w/shipping. Very nice quality!!! It has been one of my best investments!

Make 'em yourself in Photoshop. Select a picture you like and adjust its dimensions to 2"X3.5" - for business cards. You may have to crop it. Make sure you use an image that has space large enough for your printed information in one corner or along the top or bottom [assuming you plan a horizontal (landscape) presentation.] Use the text tool to place the info you want to include. Use the Move Tool to position it correctly. This will be done as a layer, so when you're finished, you'll have to flatten the layer. Save this as a JPEG file. Open Microsoft Word [or your word processor] and then open Tools > Letter and Mailings > Envelopes and Labels > Labels. Select one of the choices for a business card. Select New Document and the insert the business card "picture" you created. Copy it to all the card positions; you'll have 10 repetitions. Print it on your print onto glossy photo paper. You'll have to cut out the cards, of course.
