Kerry L. Walker   On a farm, assuming there are cattle there, there exists a a natural source of energy (once used extensively by the pioneers) that burns clean and odor free (at least it's odor free when dry!) that would make a great bonfire. Surely there are several energetic children who would love to dance around a bonfire, thus showing two different types of energy - that which is burning and the natural energy of children. Just an idea.

You can try the physics of energy; potential, kenetic, cetripetal force etc.

  Do you have electricity?

What does it run at your farm?

Do you have a windmill?

Does the sun shine? Does the wind blow?

Do you have running water?

Do you have ants on your farm? Bees?

Do you have a tractor? Milking machines? Hay balers?

Do you have a fireplace?

I can think of LOTS of things on a farm that show the creation and use of energy.

The idea behind a photo assignment is to stimulate creativity. Don't give up that easily.

Open your eyes and look around you. Don't worry about finding the right answer. There is no one right answer.
