Is my photo in the wrong category? I initially uploaded it to special effects, then changed it to digital darkroom. However, I'm still confused after reading the category guidelines. Please help! :-) Thanks!

I would put it in the 'People' category. The post-processing effects are not the main subject of the picture, the girl is. The way to answer this question to your satisfaction would be to ask yourself, "Do I want this image judged for my background manipulation or for the overall image of the girl?" Then, categorize accordingly.

I Like Your Ps Work On This One Kelly,The People Category Would Be My Choice Also, Digital Effects Are Allowed In Other Cats Too. A Sugestion Would Be To Crop The Image To A Vertical Bringing Her Closer And Putting Her Eyes In The Rule Of Thirds, When I View It I Cant Decide What Your Subject Is The Digital Work Or Your Daughter Hope That Helps A Little..

Great work, Kelly! Your allowed to enter it into either category. Personally I would choose digital darkroom, though. Mainly because of all the work you put into it.

I go with Terry....crop it, put the eyes in the upper left power point and maybe throw catch-lights in the eyes...people....:-) Bob

Thanks to everyone for your great suggestions! I've decided to keep it in digital darkroom category. I think the change from the original is drastic enough to warrant it, even if you only consider the face - especially with the skin tones and eyes - lots of manipulation there too! Best wishes to everyone! -Kelly
