Hi Michelle! You Look Great In Front Of The Camera:-)Im Not Sure What Lighting Your Using? The First Pic Needs A Bit More Lighting On The Hair Maybe Just A Reflector Or Two On Either Side Of You, The Second The Lighting Looks Pretty Good!I Would Close The Aperture Down A Stop Or Two,The Bottom Of Your Hair Seems To Be In A Shallow DOF, Not Much But Enough To See It.I Like The High Key Background In This One It Really Shows The Hair Off,Good Job!

Hey thanks for the tips. My client wants the black background, but I said I would try a couple on the white for them as well. I am worried that the hair won't show well on black as it's a very dark brown. On the black background one I'm using strobes. A main to left of the camera w/umbrella, fill to the right wl softbox, hair light behind on the right side and a forth behind with an umbrella on the left side. How can I get shiny textured hair? Should I turn my hair lights into my main lights? Change the set up completely? If been trying so many set-ups that I think I'm getting all figged up and can't think straight about it anymore. LOL. :)

Hi Again Michelle!Your Set Up Sounds Good Looks Like If You Just Tweak The Main A Bit So You Pick Up A Little More Light On The Bottom Portion And A Reflector On The Right Side Of The Camera On The Bottom Part,As Far As The Shine Photoshop Will Get That Done,They Really Look Good Overall You Should Do Well With The Shoot Have Fun A Good Luck:-)
