wedding photography: digital vs. medium format

I've been shooting weddings and portraits for over a year with a Sigma SD9. I like it, but it's noise level is unacceptable to me. I recently acquired a used MF Mamiya RB67, but have never shot in MF. I need to upgrade my equipment as I have booked another 15 weddings for next year. Any input as to whether to upgrade the digital camera or learn to shoot - at least the formal poses - with the medium format? I'm looking at a Canon 20D...I've heard the noise level is much improved. (I'm not at the level I can afford the big boys like the 1D yet...) Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Denise

I would say it is a matter of personal choice. I shoot weddings with a Pentax 645N and I love it. If I ever do go digital for weddings, it will be for the candids only. I would still shoot the formals with MF film.

Yes, MF for formals and digi for the candids. If you happen to decide to get rid of the mamiya for a decent price, just email me ;-)

Thank you both for your responses! I appreciate your input. I better get the books out and buy a bunch of film...!
