canon powershot S2 IS is this a good camera to start out with. I'm a begginer photographer but I am a very good photographer. would you suggest a film or digital, I was also looking at the canon rebel T2, but I dont want to spend all my money on prints. is their another digital you would suggest, I want it to be a slr digital, im not really sure of the definition of slr but I want dont want a little point and shoot. I dont want to spend over 500 or 600 dollars, but if you think it would be a really good camera for me, then go ahead and tell me. I like abstract pictures but I also want to bring it with me on the family vacations and take pixures of my family. I dont really mind how complicated the camera is, because im pretty good at fuguring out all the little funtions.
