Soft Box Lighting

Hi, I am pretty new to studio photography and I really like the newborn/pregnancy shots with the softbox lighting. I bought a Smith/Victor basic set with lights that stay on all the time, it gets really hot and it's hard light. Can anyone recommend a kit with soft box lighting that I can attach to my camera for the flash?

If you mean a softbox that you can use on your camera's flash accessory, Lumiquest makes some handy ones.

The Sto-Fen Omni-Bounce is a nice alternative that fits right on the front of your flash.Depending on the model of your removable flash unit, you can get one meant for the model and make. Nice softened lighting with good coverage. You can check out B&H Photo and check availability. They list a universal version if your flash is not listed. They are under $20.00
I have had good results with mine on my Nikon SB600 flash.Worth a try.
