Not Photography related but.....


BON JOVI related.

Ok, well I am a huge Bon Jovi fan, along with a few friends and relatives of mine. We have been rallying to get Bon Jovi to tour down under for their next tour, as it was announced that they were not coming to Oz. Which meant that we haven't had a proper tour since 1995.

Anyway we have put together a petition and have been emailing radio/TV stations.

The Today show here in Oz which is a popular morning show has finally got on board, and is going to help us. They said they have been inundated with Jovi fans (oppps...he he) and that they are going to make it mission to help bring BON JOVI TO OZ!!! They even have our petition on the website. See below: half way down the page and to the right.

How exciting. Our voices are getting heard and we have the media on our side! Richard Wilkins will be meeting with the band later in the year and he is personally going to deliver the petition to Jon!!! OMG, I have offered to do it for him if he is unavailable. LOL.

Melissa Farnsworth 		  How Exciting!! I love Bon Jovi!!! I used to have a poster in my room of Jon when he still had his long hair and he was showing his superman tattoo on his arm. LOVE HIM!! They are susposed to be on an episode of Cross Roads on CMT with the country band Sugar Land. That should be interesting.
I hope you get to see them!

You sparked a search for a trip down my 1989 memory lane. For you I am posting photos of my son and I meeting Jon Bon Jovi. I'm told I smiled all the way home and for the next few hours after that. We waited at a Coast Guard airport all day in FL, but it was worth it. So you know, I share in and understand your excitement, I am posting photos complete with my 1980's winged hairdo, how embarrassing. Look closely and you'll see the superman tattoo on his upper left shoulder.

I hope they come your way.

Oh how I miss those days...
I was 16, my husband was 19. We'd just been dating for about 6mon when this shot was taken at his best friend's wedding.
Gotta love the winged hair.

Natalie...I hope you will get to see Bon Jovi, I never did get to go to concerts as a kid (mom wouldn't let me).
